The Unexpected Mrs. Polifax ~ Review Update

It’s still in an awesome book, in an awesome series! You can check out my review here.

But it’s also a great movie! Mrs. Polifax Spy.

I’ve never thought a movie was as good as the novel, but sometimes you just need a good movie, cozied up on the sofa with some great snacks. These days it seems like I need them every week.

Filmed in 1971, staring Rosalind Russell (who also wrote the screenplay). It’s a fabulous romp through the world of a fledgling CIA. Who doesn’t love Rosalind Russell films. Auntie Mame anyone?

It’s a very versatile film, great for your next virtual movie night with friends, or if your in lockdown with your nearest and dearest, like me, and they’re as particular as mine, it’s a definite crowd pleaser. If it’s a double feature night you can follow it up with Hopscotch.

Do you have a favorite spy film? We could use another great movie night.
